At Singaporean Christian wakes, it is common for Evening Services to be organised, most often during the last night of the wake. These services are organised to encourage the grieving loved ones with the Word of God, reminding them that the deceased is entering an eternal life in Heaven. Eulogies would also be delivered in remembrance of the life of the deceased.

A final service before the burial and the cremation would also be conducted with the same intention.
